Las perífrasis verbales, constituyen un predicado y pueden conjugarse (hubo sido, quiso tener, etc.), y tienen la siguiente estructura:
a) Verbo+verboide (solía decir).
b)Verbo+verboide+verboide (desea ir andando).
Se encuentran tres modalidades de perífrasis verbales:
Verbo+infinitivo (solía salir).
Verbo+gerundio (estaba saliendo).
Verbo+participio (había salido).
